A still life I have almost completed with a dried rose and a glass of water. The subtle green glow of the background helps set off the red rose. The upright water cup I added halfway though helps add balance and let the eye settle towards the middle of the painting. 

I am working on a 11x14 still life with sunflowers. I am hoping to bring harmony to yellow, red, blue and green. Two warm colors and two cool colors.
