I am working on a large 32" x 32" still life with a variety of reflections. The blue in the rug works nicely with the gold pitcher while the black background allows the reflections to really pop out. Experimenting a little more with color temperature in this one looking for a nice balance of warm and cool to create as much atmosphere as I can. This painting is about 85% complete at the stage in this picture.
